14th Annual Golf Tournament

Golfing for the GOAL In Memory of Frank Pontisso

Thursday, June 13, 2024 the Institute of Italian Studies is hosting its 14th Annual Golfing for the Goal at Whitewater Golf Club.  The tournament is in memory of Frank Pontisso, who through his vitality and love of the Italian Culture was instrumental in making this tournament an event we can all look forward to.

The entry fee of $200 per person includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, two golf carts per team, a fabulous dinner and the following contests:  Salame Putting, Bocce for Pizza and Italian Trivia.

The proceeds from the Golf Tournament will be used by the Institute in fulfilling its mandate to promote the appreciation, research, and study of the Italian language, Italian-Canadian culture and history in Thunder Bay and throughout Northwestern Ontario.
