Whitewater Golf Course

The captial of Piedmont is Turin, host to the 2006 Winter Olympic Games.  Visitors to the 2006 Games would have had the opportunity to savour the wines that are native to the region.  They include the varietals Barbero and Barbaresco made from the Nebbiolo grape.  Medal winners in those games would have celebrated with the world famous sparkling wine Asti Spumante, made from the Moscato grape.

This year's event will not only celebrate our commonality in hosting a Winter Olympic Games, it will share our culture with wines that are not typically available through the LCBO, and food that is authentic to the Piedmont region.  Judging by the popularity of our previous Wine Tasting events, this will be a hot ticket so you are encouraged to make your reservations early!
