Roy Piovesana

“The Italian Community in Fort William's East End, 1907-1969”   

Roy Piovesana is the Director, Archives of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Thunder Bay. He holds an M.A. in history from Lakehead University and is the author of Robert J. Manion: Member of Parliament for Fort William, 1917-1935 and Hope and Charity: An Illustrated History of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Thunder Bay.

Eda Leaman

“A Journey Through Italian Literature: A Personal Accounting”   

Eda Leaman, C. A., is employed by the Government of Canada. She has an abiding interest in Canadian and Italian Literature and is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at Lakehead University. She is currently a member of the publications and speaker series subcommittee with the Institute of Italian Studies.
